Magisto is a fun and easy way to share your video memories with your friends.
Just shoot and upload your videos and Magisto turns them into beautifully edited movies, complete with music and effects, in minutes. And it's all done automatically, in a click!

Magisto is currently available on the web at Magisto.com, on Android devices, on iPhone and other iOS devices, and on YouTube Create.

Creating your movie is a 3-step process:

1. Upload your video(s)

2. Select a soundtrack from our library (or upload your own)

3. Choose a title for your clip, which will appear at the beginning of your video (or not…it's not a mandatory step) and VOILA, you're done!

Currently there is no way to change your movie after production. However, we are working on a remix feature that will allow you to tweak your movie after production and will let all our users know when this feature becomes available.

Magisto automatically analyzes the video footage that you upload and determines which parts are the most interesting. These interesting parts are edited together to create your final movie. For this reason, your movie may be significantly shorter than the original videos. We suggest that you upload more videos or longer videos in order to get a longer result.

The notification email may have wound up in your spam folder. If you aren't sure if your movie is finished processing please visit your 'My Movies' page. From here you will be able to check if your video is ready yet.

Yes! We recently launched downloads as a premium feature. You can click the 'Download' button from your video page. Downloads cost between $0.99 and $2.99 depending on the video quality.

You can delete a movie by clicking the trash button on the Movie Info page.

We support all of the standard video formats out there, including MOV, 3G2, 3GP, ASF, AVI, FLV, MOV, MP4, MPG, MOD, MTS and M2TS.

You can currently upload up to 600MB or up to 16 video files. If you have Magisto on iPhone you can upgrade your account to Magisto Premium to take advantage of unlimited downloads and the ability to upload up to 25 videos.

The upload speed is not really up to us - it depends on your bandwidth and your ISP. It's a bummer but we didn't invent the Internet. You can try to talk to Al Gore about it…

The music in our library is licensed for personal use on Magisto. However, if you export your video to YouTube or share it on websites outside of Magisto, some services may block the music in some countries. We try to ensure that videos using the music in our library will not be blocked but unfortunately, due to changes in copyright, we cannot guarantee this.

You will find a 'No Music' option when you select the 'Clean' theme. This will create a movie with your original audio only. We are working on other solutions that will give you more control over your audio and will make an announcement as these are rolled out.

To share your Magisto movie on YouTube click on the YouTube logo beneath your clip on the video page. An authorization window will pop up to take you through the process of connecting Magisto to your YouTube account and exporting your movie.

You can also create your Magisto video directly from YouTube via the Magisto app on YouTube Create.

The first time you watch your Magisto movie a screen will pop up at the end with all of the important faces from your video and you'll be invited to tag them via Facebook Connect. To tag a friend, just start typing their name in the box with their face. Check the 'Post to friend's wall' box to share it with your friend on Facebook.

Note: Only the pictures of tagged friends will show up on your video. You can also always return to de-tag and re-tag friends via the 'Tag' link on your video page.

If someone else is logged into Facebook on your computer, Facebook will automatically try to connect to that person's account. To connect to your own account you can simply click ‘Not Me’ in the bottom left corner of the popup window to sign in to your own account and connect to Magisto.

When you create a video it is set to ‘unlisted’ by default. This means that the only people who can see it are those that you choose to share the link with. If you would like to make your video public, choose ‘listed’ from the video page.

Videos created via YouTube Create or shared on YouTube are public by default. You can make your video private or unlisted from the YouTube Video Manager.
