Backend Developer

Build Magisto's backend using all the latest technologies; Optimize backend processes; Scale up Magisto's backend architecture, from queues to SQL/NOSQL database, job servers, APIs and more.

• Build and maintain a high-performance & scalable platform
• Rapidly iterate on platform features, developing elegant solutions using open source tools
• Pro-actively look for ways to make the system better and implement them

• Very strong knowledge and experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, PHP, or Ruby
• Extensive experience with web infrastructure and databases
• Solid understanding of the full web technology stack

Software Tester

Magisto is looking for a SOFTWARE TESTER to help us turn video moments into movie magic. We have a team of multi-talented software engineers, product designers and artistic personas, all geared to succeed in the social video arena.

• Skill in designing tests, executing them and finding and reporting bugs
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of testing concepts
• Advanced familiarity with multiple web browsers and with either Android or iOS (power user level)
• Some knowledge of programming, networking and server-side technologies
• Excellent communicative skills in English and Hebrew (both written and oral). More languages are a bonus!
