How does image stabilization work?

If you’ve ever tried to shoot video footage without a tripod, you know that sometimes you can end up with some pretty shaky footage. It can be hard to hold the camera steady—especially when you’re shooting sports or are on the go. That’s where image stabilization comes in.

Magisto has an image stabilizer built into our system that helps smooth out any bumps in the videos that you upload. We automatically detect when your videos are shaky and we stabilize them for you so that you can avoid making your viewers sea sick.
