How To Make The Ultimate Travel Video In Minutes

When you go on a trip—whether you are vacationing one state over or travelling to the other side of the world—you want to be able to share your experiences with your friends and family back home.  Magisto makes it easy to create a professional-looking video featuring all of your favorite travel memories, even if you don’t know the first thing about video editing.  You upload your travel videos and Magisto picks out all the best parts and edits them together automatically, so you can have a great video of your trip to share with your friends and family in minutes.

Magisto makes your videos automatically, while you sit back and relax.  But there are several things that you can keep in mind when shooting your video to ensure that your video is the best it can be.  For starters, you’ll want to upload more than one video.  You can just upload a single video, but the more videos you upload the more variety your final video will have.  You can upload up to 600MB or 16 video files.

You should also try to get video footage of as many different locations as possible.  If you visit Paris, for instance, you should try to shoot video at all the different places you visit—the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, Versailles and more.  You can also include video of you and your friends or family relaxing in a Paris café and chatting.  Be sure to capture as many parts of your trip as you can so you can share the full experience in your Magisto clip.

Finally, choose a nice soundtrack for your video.  Is there a song that you heard a lot on your trip?  Is there a song that makes you think of the place that you visited?  You can upload your own soundtrack, so choose something that meshes with the atmosphere of your trip.

The following video was created by one of our users, Tom, of a trip he took to Iceland.  Tom told us that if not for Magisto he probably never would have done anything with his videos.  He said, “Magisto made it super easy, accessible and fun to share.”  Check out his video, ‘My Iceland Trip’, below.

Here’s another great travel video created by Alex and Chani of their trip to Ireland.  This is a nice example of how a video turns out when you shoot footage in different locations on your trip.  You can really get a nice feel for all the different things they did on their trip.
